The OAREX H1 2024 Digital Media & Advertising Payments Report revealed that elevated levels remain constant across all metrics but it was the first report in years to suggest payment trends could be reversing. Nevertheless, the plateau we have observed in late payments is still only 6% from their all time high and underpayments only reverted back to their previous record high. Hardly worth a celebration but, after years of worsening data, we’ll take what we can get.

All eyes will be on Jerome Powell this Wednesday, as markets have priced in rate cut expectations ranging from 0.25% – 0.5%. While a cut may provide some relief to credit markets, credit risk will remain elevated. What are the Top Payor Awards
The OAREX Top Payor awards recognizes programmatic demand partners who consistently pay their supply partners on-time. Top Payors are announced on a bi-annual basis and must meet the following criteria:
- The payor must be a programmatic partner.
- OAREX must have processed at least 6 payments from the payor during the period being evaluated.
- All payments in the period must be within 3 days of the due date except one payment may be late (a mulligan), but by no more than a week.
